CPUC March 2018 En Banc on Safety Management Systems
The CPUC's Office of the Safety Advocate will hold an En Banc on Safety Management Systems on March 7, 2018.
Safety Management Systems and Standards have been developed and employed by a number of industries and companies to improve safety. This En Banc will examine and share information among regulatory staff, utilities, and industry and academic experts, on how Safety Management Systems and Standards may be employed to improve utility safety in the natural gas and electric industry. Expert and utility speakers have been scheduled. Additional information will be provided in a future update.
The En Banc will take place as follows:
- When: Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 9:30 to 3:30 p.m.
- Where: CPUC Auditorium, 505 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco; also available via webcast.
While a quorum of Commissioners and/or their staff may attend, no official action will be taken.
