The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), in ongoing actions to engage with communities statewide, will hold its August 31st Voting Meeting in Lakeport, Calif. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format for the flexibility to attend either in-person or virtually.

WHEN: Thursday, August 31, 2023, 11 a.m.

DETAILS: The CPUC typically holds Voting Meetings twice a month in San Francisco or Sacramento, and also schedules Voting Meetings periodically in other cities throughout the state to enhance outreach and engagement. The Voting Meeting will begin with public comment, and members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate. The CPUC’s Rules for Public Comment, the Voting Meeting agenda, a list of items that will be held over to a different meeting, presentations, remote access, and other information will be available on the CPUC’s website.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: You can sign-up or call in until the public comment period concludes.

  • In-person: Register to speak in-person before 11 a.m. on the day of the meeting.
  • By phone: Share your comments by calling the provided numbers. The operator will call on you when it is your turn to speak. Please note that during times of high call volumes, wait times will be long, but we value every voice and will ensure everyone gets an opportunity to speak.
