Utility Type: Represents the authority or approval granted to a utility that is authorized by the CPUC to provide a common set of services (in this instance, telecommunications services) to the public.

Competitive Local Reseller |
A provider of local landline telephone service that does not own transmission facilities but leases at wholesale the landline facilities of another from another landline telephone company and resells the service to the public under its own name. |

A wireline telephone company that provides interstate (long distance) communications services within the U.S. |
IER |
Interexchange Reseller |
