2025 PIPELINE SAFETY SEMINAR

Hosted by the California Public Utilities Commission's Gas Safety and Reliability Branch

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC)’s Gas Safety and Reliability Branch will conduct a free one-day seminar to assist gas operators to better understand the federal safety requirements for gas pipeline safety regulations and better prepare for CPUC inspections.

The seminar will include topics such as Operation and Maintenance plans, Damage Prevention Measures, Operator Qualification (OQ), Distribution Integrity Management Plans (DIMP), Transmission Integrity Management Plans (TIMP), Public Awareness, the transfer of master-meter systems at mobile home parks to gas and electric corporations, Section 114 and other related items.

August 19, 2025, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Large Operators

August 20, 2025, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Small Operators (Mobile Home Parks and Propane)

August 21, 2025, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Small Operators (Mobile Home Parks and Propane)

 

Please note there is a limited number of seats available for each day. Operators only need to register for one day of the seminar.
