Niki Bawa

Niki joined the Commission in 2010 and has worked in a variety of roles in Energy Division, Cal Advocates, Legal Division, Consumer Protection and Enforcement Division (CPED) and as Legal and Policy Advisor to Commissioner Peterman. Most recently, Niki worked as a Senior Data Analyst in CPED where he was responsible for collecting and analyzing Transportation Network Company data to advise decisionmakers.

Niki holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University where he triple majored in Economics, Political Science and Telecommunications. Niki also holds a JD from UC College of the Law San Francisco, an LLM from UC Berkeley School of Law and a MS in Applied Data Science from Syracuse University.
