How do service providers file claims for reimbursement?
After providing the CTF discount, service providers generally file monthly claims for reimbursement with the CPUC in order to recoup the discounted amounts. For the first time filers, please contact CTF staff prior to filing any claims for reimbursement. The CPUC reviews the claims for reimbursement, and issues the appropriate payments to the service provider.
Administrative Letter No. 17 and Resolution T-16763 provides the most up-to-date instructions on how to file claims for reimbursement. The current claim forms are provided in the appendix of Administrative Letter No. 17. Administrative Letter No. 17 builds on the process for filing claims established by Administrative Letter No. 11. Please note, the claim forms within Administrative Letter No.11 are now outdated.
